Season Report
Kyle Wilson has quickly established himself as one of
the
premier offensive threats on the Hershey Bears. He followed up his
remarkable rookie campaign with an even more impressive one. He tied
for 11th in the AHL with his 30 goals and had a pair of 14 point
months. As the only Bear to play in all 80 regular season games, he
finished second in scoring behind teammate Chris Bourque.

Day of Debut
Wilson plays the wrong position to have a chance at a
taste of
the NHL this year. Barring a couple or injuries, Wilson will probably
spend another complete season in the minors, much the way Dave Steckel
had to pay his dues before breaking out last season. Wilson certainly
should get a shot by 2009-10.
Future Fit
Wilson has a chance to be a third-line center if his
success
in the minors can translate to the NHL game. It's likely he'll have the
opportunity to prove himself before too long.
